Gold leaf sign-painting for a family heirloom

Through a series of events, a friend’s family was separated from a family heirloom, and she asked if I could make an updated version. Although this was not my first experience with signpainting, this was my first experience with gold-leaf. This project took about 100 hours to complete. The words translate to ​“God bless our home” in German.
